Waste Water Treatment

The oxidative power of ozone in addition to Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOP) has been used in the waste water treatment industry to destruct refractive organic compounds such pharmaceuticals, industrial wastes, PFOAS, etc.

Municipal Water Treatment

In modern drinking water treatment plants, ozone provides a powerful means of disinfection and pre-oxidation that can lead to the reduction of the formation of chlorination by-products such as Trihalomethanes.   It is also extremely effective in eliminating taste and odor issues due to contamination from the presence of algae in surface waters.

Life Support System

Ozone plays a critical role in the aquaculture industry as part of the life support filtration process.  It serves to disinfect and control the levels of bacteria in the aquaculture system as well as breaking down organic waste from the fish leading to higher water quality and healthier fish.

Disinfection System

The FDA considers ozone as GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) for use in the food industry and is considered as an “organic” alternative to other types of disinfectants.  Due to its powerful oxidative capabilities and fast reaction, it provides a much more effective means of bacterial and viral disinfection of food products on a conveyor process line.

Life Support System

Ozone also has a critical role as part of the life support filtration process for large aquariums.  It serves to disinfect and control the levels of bacteria in the aquarium as well as breaking down organic waste from the fish leading to higher water quality and healthier fish.

Laundry Treatment

In industrial laundry systems, the employment of aqueous ozone in the washing process of cottons and linens in the hospitality industries has shown to be very effective in reducing the amounts of detergents, bleach and other chemicals, as well as (in many cases) the elimination of hot water.  It provides a higher level of disinfection while leaving no chlorinated residues.  It also can reduce the drying time up to 10-20%.
